Accidental bids and bid changes

Last updated: April 27, 2026

Auction participation is serious: when you confirm a bid, you agree to honour it if you win—subject to the Terms of Use and any seller-specific notes shown on the listing.

Avoid accidental bids

  1. Verify currency symbols and decimals—especially on mobile keyboards.
  2. Confirm you selected the intended auction tab when multiple lots are open.
  3. Watch the countdown; last-second bids cannot always be corrected.

Retraction policy

There is no self-service “undo bid” button. Retraction is exceptional—contact support immediately with proof of obvious typographical errors or account takeover. Decisions follow internal risk review and Terms.

Protect your account

Enable two-factor authentication so nobody else can place bids from your profile.
