Payment methods: PayPal and crypto

PayPal and cryptocurrency (via our Coinbase-powered flow when enabled) are used to fund your wallet. They are not a separate “pay this auction with PayPal at checkout” step after you win—bidding and post-win payment use wallet balance and holds.
PayPal
- Approve the PayPal popup or redirect promptly—sessions can expire.
- Ensure your PayPal funding source has available balance or credit.
- If capture fails, retry after refreshing; persistent errors belong in a billing ticket.
Crypto
- Send the exact asset and network the invoice specifies.
- Wait for on-chain confirmations before closing the browser.
- When infrastructure flags an outage, our API may return user-friendly errors instructing you to switch rails—see payment troubleshooting.
