Verify your email or phone
Last updated: April 22, 2026
Before your account can be created, the platform confirms that you control the email address or phone number you provide. This reduces fake signups and helps us reach you about bids, payments, and security.
How verification works on signup
- On Create account, after you fill the form you move to the verification step.
- Choose email or phone. A short numeric code is sent to that channel.
- Enter the code in the verification screen. The UI shows a countdown (typically around ten minutes) before you can request a new code.
- When the code is accepted, continue to complete registration.
What the server enforces
- Email path — registration requires a successfully verified email record for the address you are registering, completed recently enough for the server to accept it.
- Phone path — registration requires a successfully verified phone record when you chose phone verification.
- If verification is too old, you may see a message that it expired. Request a new code and complete the step again before submitting registration.
If you did not receive a code
- Check spam or promotions folders for email.
- Confirm you typed the email or phone number correctly.
- Wait for the resend option, then send again.
- If it still fails, open a support ticket with the email or phone (partially masked is fine) and approximate time you tried.
After you are registered
Your profile may still show verification flags depending on what you verified during signup. You can review account details from Settings and edit profile information from Edit profile when signed in.
