Auction status meanings
Last updated: April 27, 2026
Backend statuses power admin review, search, and seller dashboards. The public listing page translates those states into wording you can act on (LIVE, ENDED, etc.).
Core statuses
- Draft — Seller is still authoring; listing is not publicly discoverable as an active sale.
- Pending — Submitted or awaiting moderation/approval (depending on seller workflow).
- Active — Eligible to receive bids once the start time has passed and the end time is in the future.
- Ended — Deadline passed or processing completed without a conflicting terminal state.
- Sold — Item settled via winning bid or Buy Now consistent with policy.
- Cancelled — Pulled before completion; bidding should stop.
- Rejected — Did not pass review; not offered for bidding.

Seller views may further label UPCOMING (approved but before start), LIVE, ENDING SOON, or ENDED based on clock time—not only the raw status field. Use the badge plus the end timer as the source of truth for bidding.

Capture the auction URL and open a ticket. Include whether payment or shipping already started.
Exact moderation rules live in internal admin tools; buyers and sellers should rely on on-screen messaging plus the Terms of Use.
