My bid did not go through

Read the toast or API message literally—it usually tells you whether the issue is amount, timing, identity, or concurrency.

Amount issues

Raise to at least the stated minimum—see how bidding works.

Auction ended

Refresh the listing; timers expire while forms stay open in background tabs.

Cannot bid on own listing

Sellers are blocked from bidding on auctions they created.

Concurrency

Someone may have bid milliseconds earlier—increment again if time remains.

Persistent anomalies deserve an Auction Support ticket with auction ID.
